metre long.Northern Cast Acrylics specialise in the manufacture of Norlite polymethylmethacrylate (Acrylic), supplying items that fall outside the normal range of stock acrylic products, small or large. Norlite is custom-manufactured to order as in a foundry. Large rough cast blocks, rods and tube are manufactured before being cut and machined to size and shape.
Polishing brings out the glass-like clarity and brilliance of the material. The versatile casting facility enables a wide range of acrylic for a variety of purposes to be produced.

Thick-walled (10mm upwards), seamless tubes as cast or machined and polished. 25mm to 2.2m dia. Also associated components such as flanges and blank-ended tubes. Clear or colour matched material.
Miscellaneous Engineering Components
Specialist one-off casting service for unusual shapes and sizes. For example, domed conical, or elliptical inserts in a block, casting close to a finished bore of a component, or if required, casting the finished, polished bore or a series of stepped bores within the same unit.
This not can not only save material, but also machining time.
Machining Service
Using a combination of casting and precision machining skills, we offer an in-house service from the drawing/design stage to the finished component. For those experienced in machining acrylics, we can supply rough cast (as cast) material for you to finish.
